Sunrise Valley Construction represents the successful merger of two companies driven by a passion for construction and shared values.
Sunrise Valley Construction
Founded in 2014 by John King, who, after gaining experience in pole buildings, decided to pursue his dream of owning a construction business. Starting with a truck, tools, and two employees, the company grew over 9 years to include two crews and a loyal customer base.
StoBro Construction
Established in 2017 by brothers David and Daniel Stoltzfus. Building on experience gained working for their uncle and opportunities through their father's business, they started with one employee and grew to three crews over 7 years, tackling diverse projects.
The Merger
Facing economic challenges and staffing needs for growth in 2023, both companies recognized the potential in joining forces. Having collaborated previously, they decided to merge. On October 2nd, 2023, the merger was formalized, creating a robust 5-person ownership team and a 4-crew field team under the Sunrise Valley Construction name, poised for a bright future.
